Michael Schmid
Pastor Emeritus
Pastor Michael Schmid has been Calvary’s leader for over 22 years. Pastor Schmid earned his Bachelor of Theology degree from Michigan Missionary Baptist Seminary and has served as president of the seminary during his tenure as pastor. Pastor Schmid is married to Nancy Schmid and has two grown children, Justin and LeeAnn. We appreciate the love that God has placed in our pastor’s heart as he gives freely and openly in the service of overseer for the flock God has put in his care.
Larry Phillips
Pastor
Pastor Larry Phillips joined Calvary’s staff in 2014. Pastor Larry has a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University majoring in psychology. Pastor Larry has also received his Bachelor of Theology degree from Michigan Missionary Baptist Seminary. Pastor Larry is married to Carrie Phillips and grew up at Calvary. Pastor Larry also has a servants heart for the work of the Lord. We’re truly blessed to have Pastor Larry working closely in conjunction with Pastor Michael in the care, teaching and administration of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
Derek Schultz
Youth Director
Derek has been at Calvary all of his life. He has been serving from a very young age. He loves the youth and will do anything for them. Derek is married to Jazzmyne and they make a great team leading the youth. We are thankful for what God has placed here at Calvary and the dedication and commitment they both have.
